CP, are you sure that beside Arab and French Xavier also could communicate in Spanish?
Not entirely certain about the place of birth but quite sure chat their family (father family) was living in Meknes where most people speak Arab, French and Spanish. Usual place of vacation for them thus.
Xavier en Thierry ook. They were born in Meknes close to Gibraltar and their family still lives there. Meknes ... Spain ... Maubeuge ... Wavre ... El Pais. Other people who spoke spanish: Mendez en Hendrik Rauwens.
